The subject “Agricultural structures and environmental control” is important to understand basics of various Agricultural structures used on farm for carry out different farming related activities. This subject also covers methods of environmental control for modifying environment in animal housing in view of comfort of livestock.
Structures which literally means any building or other object constructed from several parts. Agricultural structures are the set of buildings that used for various farm operations. Thus one can understand how many types of agricultural structures are possible as there are large numbers of farm operations. This comprises from threshing yard to seed storage and from animal housing to farm house.
Environmental control is another wide area in which we are trying to make changes in environmental parameters such as temperature, humidity, air flow rate etc according to comfort level of the living things. In this subject students can learn how environmental control techniques are important for animal housing.
The knowledge of this course helps students to learn insights of various Agricultural structures used in country and the techniques used to control environmental parameters in these structures.
